I figured out what was wrong. Because I hadn’t posted anything yet in the new category, the category wasn’t showing up. But it does now.

I just downloaded this plugin today. When I tried to choose a category to to display on the page I’d chosen, only one category is listed. I have created two categories in addition to the uncategorized category, but only one is showing up in the menu.

@Suzanne – are all your categories in use? I noticed that if you haven’t got any posts assigned to a category, it doesn’t appear.

I’ll see what I can do about it.

Great plugin! Works great but I did find something strange happens to my admin site when it is activated. I’d like to send you a screen shot if I could to see if you have any idea as to why it might be happening.

At first I did not know which plugin was causing the problem but one by one I went through and deactivated and reactivated until I determined it was this one that causes the issue.

This may not make sense but it causes all the boxes within my admin screen to shift down and leave white space above them. When I deactivate your plugin, problem solved. But I need your plugin for my page.

If you need more info let me know, I’ll send it your way.

Hi Rich,
I’m using WP 3.0. But forget my previous mail, the issue I mentioned above came from a side effect of another plugin. One of which dealt with user access and which messed up all my site if you see what I mean …

@Benjamin – when you say break the page – can you show me a URL of it in action so I can see whats going on?

Hi,
Since last update I’ve got this error:
“Fatal error: Call to a member function have_posts() on a non-object in /var/www/wpcilzone/wp-includes/query.php on line 641″
Any idea?

Hi,

I just installed the plugin on WP 3.0. Unfortunately, the plugin does break the page (it does not allow other plugins to pre-process the code of the page).

Would you fix this?

Hi Rich,

no I’m still using it, because it basically gives a quick access to one the main things I’m sharing on my blog. What I’m not able to use is in the settings “Show original text of the page ” (in my case it darkens the charachters and only showing highlighted the category) nor am I using “show full post” because in that case it will put the full post in my sidebar ‘recent posts’ and thus messing up the right bar.
